Jack F.M. OHalloran
National Director
Jack OHalloran most recently served as the Director/Vice President of Operations for the Vancouver Whistler Games Network, the interdenominational organization coordinating the Christian Community’s involvement with the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Jack has worked extensively with the Vancouver Whistler Organizing Committee (VANOC) for the Olympic Games, coordinating the Christian Community’s involvement with the following programs; Athlete’s Family Home Stay, Volunteer Home Stay, Chaplaincy, Creative Arts, Hospitality, Sports Initiatives, and Literature development and distribution. As the Canadian Mini Region Convener for The International Sports Coalition Jack has traveled world-wide, consulting with Christian agencies regarding their involvement with major sporting events and their cooperation with the local major event organizing committee.
Prior to his involvement with the Vancouver Whistler Games Network, Jack served as the Director of The Salvation Army’s Major Events and Sports Ministry department in Burnaby, BC. Canada. In this role he coordinated The Salvation Army’s outreach and service ministries in conjunction with the Vancouver Whistler Olympic Games, specifically coordinating the interdenominational outreach via Creative Arts, Sports Ministry and the Hospitality program. Jack was seconded over to the Vancouver Whistler Games Network on a full time basis in September of 2008. Jack has also served as one of the founding board members of Vancouver Whistler Games Network.
In 1997, Jack served as a consultant to White Spot Restaurants for 5 years. In this capacity, he was the liaison between the corporate office and franchisee units, concentrating specifically on management development, quality control, financial analysis, and guest services.
Jack and his wife, Anne, and two children are currently situated in Tassawwassen, British Columbia. Born in Nova Scotia in 1960, Jack together with Anne moved to Vancouver in 1996 first settling on the North Shore and then relocating to the Delta area. Their two children Zachary and Emma both attend Beach Grove Elementary School.
